June 23, 2015Jubacana welcomes you to make music with us, and no experience is necessary!
If you are 11-18, interested in making music with other young people, and want to try something fun and new, this is the opportunity for you. We make a massive sound with Brazilian drums and percussion to create original music, adding melody instruments and vocals into the mix as well!
Towards the end of this summer, Jubacana members can look forward to weekly music workshops and rehearsals on Saturdays that will eventually lead to performances. For now we invite you to play at one or all of our taster days at Band On The Wall.
Instruments include Afro-Brazilian percussion, drum kit, vocals, flute, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass, and we are open to other suggestions!
A separate dance element of the project is also set to relaunch soon, so watch this space!
