The Men’s Room are looking for an experienced social care professional to take a lead role in ensuring young men accessing their provision receive the support and access to the social care agencies that will meet their complex needs, advocating on behalf of young men in crisis and monitoring their journey through the social care system.

The Men’s Room take a range of creative approaches to engaging these hard to reach young men and aim to provide opportunities for personal development, creative expression and social care support.

As an organisation, they run a number of street based outreach sessions throughout the week, including 2 sessions as part of our Safer Streets Partnership with Survivors Manchester. The outreach is delivered around the male sex work, child sexual exploitation and crime hotspot areas in central Manchester. They also run weekly drop in sessions for male sex workers, and we provide personalised one-to-one support and referral services. The Men’s Room work in partnership with many arts and social care providers across the city to provide excellent packages of support and opportunities for the young men we work with.
