To celebrate the upcoming festival at Tatton Park, Historic Royal Palaces are offering a multimedia storytelling workshop for Key Stage 1-2 teachers. The day will include an opportunity to try out traditional and digital storytelling as well as animation and puppetry. You will leave with plenty of creative ideas to try with your class as well as have the chance to share best practice with other educators.

There will also be details about how to enter the nationwide Storyteller!  competition which ties into National Storytelling Week (31st Jan-7th Feb), World Storytelling Day (20th March) and National Share-a-Story Month (May)

Would you like to perform for King Henry VIII at Tatton Park?

Calling all music and dance groups to come and perform!

Hampton Court Palace is looking to develop unique performances with young people aged 11-19 on re-imagining early music and dance. Groups will perform at Tatton Park at an exciting new festival in early May, bringing the sights, sounds and splendour of King Henry VIII’s court for everyone to enjoy http://www.hrp.org.uk/discoverthepalaces/tudors-on-tour

Each group will be offered free expert-led workshops and free admission to the festival. Workshops will take place from February to April at the group’s regular meeting place.
