Arts Award’s free portfolio space and app, Artsbox, is now available for all UK schools

Artsbox is now available for all UK schools to use and enjoy. Artsbox is a free digital space and app for children and young people who are working towards their Arts Award or simply want to safely record their arts experiences in one place and share them with others.

Artsbox helps teachers to support young people and assess their progress. Young people can upload video, audio, photographs and documents to record their creative journey. The free Artsbox app means they can collate and share arts experiences on the move. Young people working towards their Arts Award can use Artsbox to collect evidence and create a digital portfolio.

Arts Award is a range of nationally recognised qualifications that support young people to grow as artists and arts leaders, developing creativity, leadership and communication skills. Arts Award is open to anyone aged up to 25, and embraces all interests and backgrounds. Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England working with 10 regional Bridge organisations.

Clinton Rae, Director of Business Development at Trinity College London said: ‘We are delighted to now be making Artsbox available to all schools. In the past six months, Artsbox has been enthusiastically received by over 4000 young people and Arts Award advisers and we’re thrilled that children and young people in schools across the country will have the opportunity to use this new, free digital platform and app’.

Teachers can register for free at www.artsbox.co.uk
