DARE DANCE has developed a new South Cumbria Dance Partnership with Brewery Arts Centre and National Trust at Fell Foot to bring together 100 Children and Young People aged 6-18yrs from across South Cumbria, to devise an ambitious, innovative, original site-specific dance performance ‘Now and Then’ on the site of the Historic House at Fell Foot.

The project is funded by Arts Council England, Sir Francis C Scott Charitable Trust and Cumbria Community Foundation.

The Artistic Team is Ellen Turner, Zanna Dennis and Emma Hayes who will be leading weekly inspirational dance classes at Brewery Arts Centre and DARE Dance Studio with additional days working as a whole cast of 100 on site at Fell Foot and composer Andrew Deakin who will create the Soundscore.

10 Young People aged 14-16yrs will be selected to be our first Youth Dance Ambassador Group. They will document the process of this amazing project with interviews, images, videos and observations to represent the project as it develops in social media and be part of the decision-making process.
