September 27, 2022An exciting opportunity to learn about leadership and innovation in youth-led heritage
Hope Streets, Curious Minds’ ambitious five-year project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, connecting the heritage and youth sectors in the North West, is coming to an end.
As we round off and reflect on this major programme of work, we are excited to announce the date of a major event, at which those involved in the project at all levels will share their learning with the wider sector.Join us for:
- Insightful and useful talks and workshops about how to conduct youth-led heritage work.
- A marketplace of ideas, where you can have in-depth conversations with people from a range of youth-led projects, including lead staff, young people and funders.
- A series of activities led by young people who were directly involved in Hope Streets.
- Connections with organisations and individuals with expansive experience of youth-led work - and those just starting to explore it.
Whilst anyone is welcome to attend, we think this event will be most useful for staff from heritage or cultural organisations who are looking to develop their work with young people, or for youth workers interested in running heritage projects.
The event is free to attend and will last from 10am until 4pm on the day.
