Make your school an arts school and every child an artist

Curious Minds is pleased to once again be supporting Access All Arts Week from Sky Arts, which this year will take place Monday 19th to Friday 23rd June 2023.

Access All Arts is a nationwide arts week for primary schools. Art part of its mission to bring more art to more people - and with the specific aim of widening arts access for primary-age children - Sky Arts has partnered with leading artists and arts organisations across the UK to offer free resources, guidance and inspiration to teachers, home educators and anyone in the youth workforce. With over 11,500 teachers across UK and Ireland already signed up, this isn’t one to miss.

How you can benefit
There are loads of free resources, covering ten different artforms, available to download right now from the Access All Arts website, with curriculum-linked lesson packs containing everything you need to run an arts week in your school. This includes ready-to-teach presentations, video masterclasses from artists, creative playing cards, printable activity sheets, and straightforward teacher guides.
To access and download these resources, simply register for free here.
Curious about the artists and creative providers on your doorstep?
Use Curious Minds' online Creative Educators Map to connect with local teaching artists and cultural providers local to you who can help your school enrich education and bring the curriculum to life.

When schools use this map to commission local cultural partners they also strengthen the local economy, highlight a variety of career paths to students and strengthen the cultural ecology of a place.
