Jack & The Beanstalk

Fee Fi Fo Fum! It’s a giant of a show, we’d love you to come!
This classic fairytale now gets the Lyngo treatment so expect lots of surprises, a gripping story and beautiful images as Jack sells his cow for 5 magic beans and finds himself in the land above the clouds.
It’s a show for the over 3s (and their giants) with something for everyone – enormous shoes, tiny houses, showers of silver and gold and a big, leafy explosion!
Who’s Been Sitting In My Chair?

A delightful and playful version of a well-known tale – with porridge and bears and one, two. three chairs. A tale that’s not too BIG and not too small but just right. Mind you, telling this story is not so easy when it’s wintertime and those sleepy bears just won’t wake up from their dreamy slumber. But spring in the air puts a spring in all our steps and one little girl with golden hair is always a step ahead. And when Small Bear gets lost, we all have to go on a bear hunt!
With original music, this play is for everyone who can count to three – especially if you’re aged 3 to 7!
Hey Presto!

Peaceful Lion Productions present ‘Hey, Presto!’ a brand new production based on the book by Nadia Shireen.
Presto, the cat, is a very talented magician, so when he and his best friend Monty, the dog, join a funfair and start a magic show things look good for the duo. But fame goes to Monty’s head and soon Presto loses his friend and his show! Will true friendship prevail? Is there a touch of magic in the air?
A heart-warming tale of aspiration, friendship, adventure and a little bit of mischief accompanied by catchy songs, this is the perfect treat for everyone aged 3 and up.

Harmonise with others to create your own unique sound and put your own hallmark on your favourite chart hits. Whether you’re into Beyonce and One Direction or prefer Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran, the Music Mecca Singing Workshop can cater for all tastes.

Have you always wanted to play the guitar but not been sure where to start? The Music Mecca Guitar Workshop can help you out. You can learn the basics with friendly tutors, who will show you the chords from A to G. In no time, you’ll be able to strum along to some classic rock tracks and it won’t be long before you’re ready to start playing with others in your very own band.

Once you’ve mastered the basics in our Guitar Workshop, you’ll be ready to start working with other young musicians and tackling more challenging pieces. There are intermediate and advanced classes which run parallel to each other in different rooms at the same time. The advanced group is aimed at bands who have been playing together for a while and may already be gigging. Whether you’re into Black Sabbath, Oasis, The Rolling Stones or AC/DC, rock band can cater for all tastes.

Were you born to dance or do you just love to boogie? Get down to The Citadel on a Saturday afternoon and learn a variety of diverse contemporary styles. Their friendly tutors will show you the moves step by step and you’ll be able to work towards regular performances. Soon, you’ll be the king or queen of the dancefloor!
