October 14, 2013Undercurrents workshops begin on Saturday 21 September at the Burnley Crib. These are free 2-hour workshops for 13 to 19 year olds, covering Photography, Filmmaking, Visual Art and Creative Writing. Drop in or come each week!
Undercurrents is giving young people in Burnley the opportunity to discover and explore the hidden rivers that run beneath the town through creative workshops with artists. Participants on the project will also have the opportunity to gain their Arts Award.
Undercurrents is part of Burnley’s Urban Rivers Enhancement Scheme run by the Ribble Rivers Trust, and is managed by Burnley Borough Council Arts Development Team. The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
