more
Let’s Talk About Safeguarding is a chance to revisit and deepen your understanding of what to consider to keep both yourself and the young people you work with safe in a variety of settings. Whether you’re working in a venue, out in the community, or online, safeguarding is an essential part of any creative practice.
This interactive session will cover key principles, best practices, and the latest guidance on how to create safe, nurturing environments for young people. You’ll leave with insights and practical tools that apply to a wide range of arts and cultural settings.
This workshop will also address the evolving challenges of working in today’s landscape, equipping you with the confidence to navigate these situations with care.
In light of the devastating attacks in Southport this summer, safeguarding has never been more urgent.
Join us to refresh your skills, share experiences, and ensure you’re fully prepared to support and protect young people in creative spaces.
Access: This event will use live transcription. If you need any other access support please get in touch before the event.
(Monday) 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
