What we need
By joining our pool of creatives, you'll have the chance to:
- Empower teachers and pupils to engage with arts and culture.
- Provide high-quality and engaging arts experiences in rural schools.
- Contribute to a groundbreaking project that addresses educational inequalities through creativity
IMPORTANT:
Submitting an EOI and being accepted as part of the pool is not a guarantee of work, or a contract being offered.
What We're Looking For
- Artists and organisations with a proven track record of working with schools.
- Passionate individuals committed to fostering arts and culture in education.
- Flexibility and adaptability to tailor your creative activities to the needs of each school.
Key information
- Availability: Be available on one or more of the following dates: Thursday 19th September, Thursday 26th September, and Thursday 16th January 2025.
- Requirements: Hold a valid DBS certificate and public liability insurance.
- Location: All activities will take place in Allerdale and Copeland, in schools in Whitehaven, Egremont, and Millom. Activities will run from 9am – 3:30pm, so consider travel time from your location.
- Each opportunity includes at least one day of delivery plus one day for planning, paid at £225 per day. Travel costs are covered separately, and accommodation (if essential).
