If you have been furloughed due to Covid-19 and have some time to volunteer to give to support freelancers and small community and voluntary organisations with your skills and knowledge, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Areas identified are:
- Fundraising and bid writing (including reading and supporting bids to Arts Council England’s Emergency Fund)
- Mental health & wellbeing
- Finance & business support
- Delivering online content
- Creating a website
- Marketing and social media presence
- British Sign Language
- Policy Development
- Curriculum development
- Organisational development
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities knowledge
- Video editing
- Developing Continuing Professional Development for teachers
If you feel you can offer your skills and time please email info@curiousminds.org.uk with the subject line ‘Furlough offer’. Let us know the name of the employer/organisation you usually work for, your job title and role and what you feel you can offer. We will then match your skills with requests we have and put you in contact with individuals/organisations requiring support. In the interests of GDPR we require your permission to hand on your contact information. You cannot volunteer for the organisation or employer who has furloughed you. Curious Minds staff will act as ‘Relationship Manager’ between furloughed volunteers and those in receipt of support.
