Ali Eisa

Lecturer at Goldsmiths, BA Fine Art (Studio Practice) and contributor to BA Fine Art (Critical Studies)

Ali Eisa is an artist and educator based in London. He co-founded the Lloyd Corporation, a collaborative project with artist Sebastian Lloyd Rees, and has worked together with him since 2010. The collective’s practice utilises sculpture, installation, performance and participation, often drawing on informal cultures, local economies and found objects.

He has over 15 years’ experience in arts education, community arts and youth work. He has facilitated participatory arts projects exploring identity, human rights, representation and inclusion for marginalised communities, including young people from refugee, asylum and migrant backgrounds. He managed Learning and Participation at Autograph (2015–2023) and has developed socially engaged projects with numerous galleries, museums and arts institutions. He is a facilitator with A Particular Reality—a collective of students, alumni and educators exploring anti-racist art practice and participatory research. He also has a background in social circus.
