The ITAC England Hub
Powered by Curious Minds
Artists changing lives. A global network at your fingertips.
What is ITAC?
ITAC (International Teaching Artists Collaborative) is the global network for Teaching Artists.
Teaching Artists are practitioners who use and share their artistry with people to catalyse social change across education, health, climate, civic life and more. This work is essential to the arts and cultural ecosystem, yet too often undervalued or overlooked.
ITAC’s mission is to support, expand and connect this international community, to build excellence in practice, and to advocate for its value.
ITAC's vision is for a world in which Teaching Artists are working in the heart of learning and communities.

Am I a Teaching Artist?
We recognise that the term Teaching Artist may not be how you describe yourself and your work. If you use the arts and culture to activate the artistry of young people and communities, we consider you a Teaching Artist!
Why an England Hub?
Teaching Artists in England are essential and under-recognised. Networks are fragmented, career routes patchy, and international exchange harder than it should be. The Hub tackles this by creating structure, voice and pathways aligned with Curious Minds’ national leadership in cultural learning.
The ITAC England Hub changes that. We:
-
Connect people and opportunities nationally and globally
-
Grow skills through targeted CPD and peer exchange
-
Champion the field with evidence, stories and advocacy
-> Teaching Artists (freelance or employed) across all artforms and settings
-> Cultural & Education organisations (schools, HE/FE, museums, theatres, galleries
-> Funders, policymakers and local authority officers
