The North West Cultural Education Awards 2018

The North West region's cultural education stars were honoured in the second North West Cultural Education Awards on 27th June, 2018.

The high profile celebration brought together teachers, cultural organisations, artists and influencers to celebrate their involvement in the Cultural Educational Challenge and shine a light on  those who have gone above and beyond in their work to bring the benefits of great arts and culture to children and young people.

The afternoon event at Preston's Guild Hall complex had a fun festival atmosphere, with a creative space – ‘Wonderland’ – showcasing some of the region’s rich and diverse cultural offer for schools, alongside the Awards Ceremony itself.

Awards were presented for 15 separate categories, from which winners had been selected by an independent panel of judges.
