About this role
This is an exciting and important moment for us. From our new base at Wigan Pier, we are growing our role as a national catalyst for arts education and supporting the people who bring creativity into children’s lives every day. We are also beginning our journey as the ITAC England Hub, connecting teaching artists across borders and strengthening a global community of creative educators. National policy is moving in ways that open new space for our mission, giving Curious Minds an even stronger platform for influence.
We are looking for a communications leader who can shape a clear, compelling public voice for Curious Minds; tell the story of our work and the impact of teaching artists and cultural organisations; and elevate our visibility by building trusted relationships with the media, advocates and partners so that more people understand why arts-based learning matters.
You will provide leadership across our communications and PR work, raise our national profile and ensure everything we share reflects our commitment to equity, diversity and high-quality cultural learning. You will play a central part in helping Curious Minds be understood, trusted and valued across the North and nationally.
If you are motivated by purpose, energised by storytelling and ready to help shape thinking about creativity in education, we would be delighted to hear from you.
