Curious Creatives Network
Inspire, Learn, Connect
We’re not just here to connect. We’re here to challenge. To recharge. To ask better questions. To spotlight the kind of practice and people that move things forward and to build a future where creativity is equitable, courageous, and accessible to all
We’re here to open up the conversation around who gets to make and lead in the arts. To celebrate the breadth of creative talent shaping the sector from all corners of our communities. That’s why we champion diverse excellence and support those working towards a more inclusive cultural landscape.
The Curious Creatives Network (CCN) is a space to build meaningful relationships, exchange ideas, and pick up real-world insights from grassroots organisers to established institutions. Whether you’re looking to get inspired, develop your practice, learn how others navigate the sector or simply connect with people who get it, there’s a space for you at the table!
Our values and why this work is important
INCLUSIVE - We centre underrepresented voices and work to create a cultural sector where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
CURIOUS - We’re always asking questions, staying open to new perspectives, and exploring how creativity can do more and mean more.
ASPIRATIONAL - A space to learn from trailblazers, people who are pushing boundaries, rethinking practice, and leading with purpose.
RELATABLE - Warm, open, and human. We value honesty over ego, and real connection over polished personas.
ESSENTIAL - A must for anyone who cares about creative education, equity, and the role of the arts in young people’s lives.
Who is it for?
The Curious Creatives Network is for anyone using creativity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people.
You might be a teaching artist, youth worker, freelance creative, educator or cultural practitioner. You might be delivering workshops in schools, building trust in community spaces, shaping cultural policy or just finding your feet in the sector.
CCN is especially welcoming to freelancers, offering opportunities to connect, share practice with peers, and learn from those forging bold, inclusive paths across the cultural sector.
If you care about creative education, equity, and connection, there’s space for you here.
As a network member, you’ll gain access to:
Two Monthly Online Networking Events:
-
One dedicated entirely to networking: A relaxed space to meet peers, share ideas, and build connections.
-
One featuring a guest speaker: Someone who shares their journey into the arts, challenges, inspires, and opens new ways of thinking about creativity, equity, and cultural education.
A dedicated and inclusive peer community: Connect with others who share your values and are committed to making a difference through creativity and culture.
Continual Professional Development (CPD): Expand your knowledge and skills through a curated program shaped by sector needs and member input.
