About us

At Curious Minds, we know that arts and culture have the power to change lives, and that every child and young person, regardless of purse or postcode, deserves the chance to thrive through arts education and cultural learning.

We’re a passionate, energetic team based in the North, working across England as a trusted partner to education and cultural leaders, youth and community professionals, and strategic decision-makers.

Together, we’re working to ensure that all children and young people have access to meaningful arts education and cultural learning experiences.

We advocate for a world where cultural education is a right, not a privilege.

Our advisory community

Our advisory panels of independent subject matter experts are an essential part of the Curious Minds community.

They bring fresh perspectives, constructive challenge and expert insight that help to shape the direction, quality and impact of our work.

We are extremely grateful to work with the following groups of professionals, who bring their expertise, ideas, and guidance to support our mission.

Our history
Curious Minds was first established in 2009, to deliver Arts Council England’s Creative Partnerships programme across Lancashire and Merseyside. We joined Arts Council England’s Bridge Network in 2012.

This was a role we delivered successfully for 11 years - working across the North West of England to improve outcomes for children and young people by connecting the creative and cultural sectors with those working in education.
