Marketing and Promotions Officer – Minerva Arts

Minerva Arts is an arts organisation based in Chester. We run two Youth Theatres, work with schools and community groups and design and run our own projects. Our projects involve drama, art, music dance and more. To find out more about our work please visit our website www.minervaarts.com.

As part of the Trailblaze programme we are looking to recruit a creative, committed and imaginative individual to join our team and help us spread the word about our work. You will have a passion for the arts, some experience in graphic design and an interest in communicating brilliant opportunities to a wide range of people.

Role: You will work alongside our Youth Theatre team as well as staff engaged in other projects to develop new ways to recruit young people, engage with schools and research new markets.

Salary: This is a paid placement offered at the following rate- £4.17 an hour for 16/17 year olds and £5.13 an hour for an 18 year old.

Hours of Work: 12 days (1 day a week over 12 weeks).

This post is funded by Curious Minds as part of the Trailblaze programme.  As a result of funding restrictions, the post can only be offered to 16 to 18 year olds, we are particularly interested in hearing from you if you are not in education, employment or training, or you are currently studying an entry level or level one college course.  The Trailblaze programme provides additional personal support when gaining employment and during the job itself.
