The Royal Exchange Theatre have some fantastic opportunities for schools throughout 2014 and into 2015:

DON’T FEED THE PLANTS!

A collaborative, school led project for Key Stage 3 Art, Drama and English students, culminating in an installation of supernatural plants in the Lounge to accompany the Christmas production of THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Contact Natalie Diddams to find out more about how your school can get involved in this FREE project, and come along to a creative planning session for teachers on Wednesday 2 July 2014 from 5 – 6.30pm.

BEHIND THE SCENES…

Pre-show, talk-based introductions to all the plays and productions on the main stage. Join members of the creative team as they discuss and demonstrate the process of bringing each production to life. All sessions take place in the theatre space where the show is being staged.

Bringing together teachers, theatre practitioners and educationalists to share best practice and hear about recent and forthcoming projects and events that place creative learning at the heart of the curriculum. The first Forum event of 2014/15 is on Wednesday 17 September from 5 – 7pm and includes a free ticket to see HAMLET.
